RELEASE
Let go of all expectations and notions about what you want,
what you need and what you believe should happen; release your outcomes and
embrace the prayer. Your prayer time is time to offer God your undivided
attention, to be receptive to His voice and His instruction. It is time to
watch and wait on Him.
Where is your prayer focus?
2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV)
18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is
unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
CONSENT
Give into God's presence. You don't always have to be
talking; sometimes words aren't always necessary. Tell God your intentions
allow Him to show you if your intentions are altruistic. Go deep into your
faith; think of your prayer as sitting on a sunbeam created for you - feel
the warmth of situation. The light is waiting for you and desirous of
you...step into it.
Can you sit in the light or are you afraid of what it may
show?
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as
he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of
Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that
they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven
