Failure & Mistakes – February 18, 2015

Psalm 37:24 ESV      Though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.

Psalm 32:1-5 ESV     A Maskil of David. Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer. Selah I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah

Proverbs 28:13 ESV    Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

I wish I had something really profound and deep to share with you on this subject but unfortunately I don’t. I’m just going to leave you with this kernel of wisdom a KB-ism if you will…
The people who rarely fail are the people who rarely try!

How do you avoid failure or mistakes? You don’t…you keep trying, you practice the perfecting comes in the training.
