Ephesians 4:27 and
do not give the devil a foothold.
James 4:7 Submit
yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1 Peter 5:8 Be
alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion
looking for someone to devour.
1 Corinthians 5:4 So
when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord
Jesus is present,
You can’t just expect to recognize and reject the enemy and
his plans. You must be mature in and continue to embrace the word of God and
His vision for the future. It is a given to understand that anything not fed
will eventually wither and die. Whatever you cling to your breast, you feed.
Breastfeeding allows a few benefits 1) what you cling to recognizes your
heartbeat 2) whatever you cling to creates or steals your warmth 3) whatever
you cling to extracts nourishment….just a few words of caution – be sure you
can distinguish between feeding what you need to grow and starving what you
need to die.
Do you ever get the feeling that life is passing you by? Is
your life full of peaks and valleys and you just long for a consistent path? What
you need is a life tonic! You need a desire to drive you to celebrate you, your
God and His accomplishment through you. You need a desire that blinds you to
your fear and inhibitions. You need a desire that is the key to the prison of
could have, would have, should have. Declare ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! in your life.
Sit yourself down and write a list of your jail breaks (some
people call it a bucket list…but I say why wait until you’re at deaths door)
and check off the things you accomplish from your list. There is no way you can
plan for your future and keep your feet in the past.
Be your change! Praise God and break free from your
self-imposed prisons …
Acts 16: 25-26 25 About
midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other
prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent
earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the
prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose
