Isaiah 10:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
10 Woe to those who make unjust laws,
to those who issue oppressive decrees,
2 to deprive the poor of their rights
and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people,
making widows their prey
and robbing the fatherless.

God wants us to be a generous and concerned people. We are
not to be concerned about our "stuff" but the work of God and the
needs of others, especially those who are powerless and can't defend
themselves.
Thought for today:
Am I more concerned about being right than I am about being righteous?
