Galatians 5:24 New International Version (NIV)
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the
flesh with its passions and desires.
When we became Christians, we died to the old person of sin
and were raised up a new person. While we have many of the same battles with
temptation, we also now have the power of the resurrection and the Holy Spirit
at work within us to help us.
