I have to say this week has been one helluva ride. I make it a practice to show kindness and understanding to others because I know we have all been through some things and we will continue to go through some things; I know that sometimes it just takes someone listening and the medicine of empathy to help others get through.

Y'all this covid-19 hype has a lot of people in a panic and running scared with no destination in mind. Please allow me to share some facts and thoughts on the matter:

FACTS: The reality of this virus is many of us have already been exposed to it or will most likely be exposed to it. Many of us will show no symptoms or have mild symptoms. What we need to do is protect the people who are most vulnerable - the elderly and the medically frail. People with compromised immune systems and people with chronic respiratory issues.
THERE IS A CAUSE FOR CONCERN BUT NOT A NEED FOR PANIC!!!

THOUGHTS: By now, with my many shares, you know I am a person of faith...I know God is a God or order ..so I'm posing the question from Luke 12:25-31. I am presenting the conviction of Isaiah 12:2; Psalm 62:8 and Proverbs 3:5-6. I am giving instruction and support as demonstrated in James 5:13-15

About me- that's a tough question to answer. I'm a writer first and foremost; I acknowledge and embrace my gift.

This page was created to share my faith and to motivate and encourage others to explore their spirituality and to start a lifelong faith walk. Far too many of us have embraced church messages of can't and condemnation because of short comings and character defects.

In the mid '90's I discovered a place that resuscitated my spirituality and encouraged me to acquire a deeper theological foundation. I was blessed to learn from Bishop Yvette Flunder and it is my fervent prayer that I continue to preach and teach what I learned about the gospel, liberation theology and radical inclusivity.

What I Believe:

Radical Inclusivity is the intentional inclusion of all persons; especially people who have traditionally lived at the margins of society, such as people suffering from substance abuse; people living with HIV/AIDS; same-gender loving people; the recently incarcerated; and sex industry workers.

At the core faith and vision is a mandate from God to proclaim a gospel that is radically inclusive of all persons. The Fellowship defines radically inclusivity as "the intentional inclusion of every person in the community of faith." Inclusivity challenges major fundamental, deep-seated Christian beliefs, doctrines and theologies of the center of society which characterize people on the edge as enemies of God and routinely mistreats, oppresses and excludes people from the community of faith and its institutions. It is my purpose and aim to provide a safe place of refuge for persons who have been wounded by oppressive theologies and to provide a place of nurturing and training for those who feel called to this shared ministry.
