Courage January 9, 2016

Isiah 41:10, 13     So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Could you use some courage? Are you backing down more than you are standing up?
We need to remember that the disciples were common men who were assigned compelling tasks. Before they were held up and canonized they were somebody’s next door neighbor or fishing buddy.

Fleshly fears are no fears at all when you learn to trust God!

  1. Yes, I definetely could use more courage. Going ahead and trying something new, taking a risk without all the analysis of how it will all work out. Just doing it, with a faith that no matter how it turns out I am going to be okay.
